How Long Does Acupuncture Take to Work?
Are your practitioners AHPRA registered?
Yes. All practitioners at Nature Heals are AHPRA-registered Chinese Medicine Practitioners,
meeting the national registration standards required to practise in Australia. We are committed to
providing safe, evidence-informed and personalised care, while continually advancing our
knowledge through ongoing professional development.
What happens during the first consultation?
Your first consultation begins with a detailed discussion about your health history, current
symptoms, and lifestyle. Our practitioner will also perform traditional Chinese medicine diagnostic
methods such as pulse and tongue assessment to gain a deeper understanding of your body’s
internal balance.
Based on this information, a personalised treatment plan will be developed, and acupuncture
treatment may begin during the same visit where appropriate
How should I prepare for my acupuncture appointment?
It is recommended to have a light meal before your appointment and avoid arriving on an empty
stomach. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing so the practitioner can easily access treatment
areas such as the arms or legs. Please also bring any relevant medical information or test results if
they relate to your condition.
